Clean Sheet Is Pleasing - Taylor

Left back Kris Taylor was pleased that at least Hereford United kept a clean sheet this afternoon. But like captain Ben Smith he recognised that Notts County had come to Edgar Street with a game plan.

"They decided they would try and take a point and they made it tough for us," he told BBC Hereford and Worcester.

"In the final third we had a couple of half-chances but they defended well and I think they have got the result they came for.

"The manager and John say to us if we can't win the game make sure we don't lose it. To get a clean sheet is pleasing."

Last season Taylor was with Walsall who were promoted and was asked about any differences in play.

"Here we probably knock it around more when we're on song. I'm sure it's nice to watch when we're flowing.

"Last few weeks we've shown that grit and determination to nick the odd goal. We've adapted to difficult circumstances.
