Bulls Go Dutch With New Loan Signing

Hereford United have announced the loan signing of Dutchman Sherjill Macdonald from West Brom.

The month long deal sees the 23 year old get some regular first team football after a season of bench warming at the Hawthorns. He recently signed a two and a half year contract at West Brom after a successful loan spell, costing the club £200,000.

The forward is described on the West Brom site as a 'jet-heeled winger', having made 25 sub appearances in a 12 month loan from his former Dutch side after he scored eleven times in just eight games to attract manager Tony Mowbray's attention.

His arrival brings the number of loan signings at Edgar Street to six, meaning boss Graham Turner will have to leave at least one out of his 16 man matchday squad to comply with Football League rules.

His loan spell ends on Saturday March 8th when the Bulls play at Accrington Stanley. If chosen he could play in eight games starting tomorrow with Dagenham and Redbridge.
