Chester are looking to sign former Cardiff winger Kevin Cooper as a replacement for Kevin Ellison. The 32 year old was released last week having not played for the Bluebirds in 12 months.

Exeter's disgraced former Directors John Russell and Mike Lewis have been banned from football for life. Russell, currently in jail for fraudulent trading over his time at St James Park, failed to respond to the FA charges while Lewis, who received community service for his part, admitted his charge. Both bans can be reviewed after 10 years although neither are likely to ever work in football again.
