Turner Hopes For Imminent Signings

Bulls boss Graham Turner is hoping one or two new signings may be sealed imminently but, as always, the names of those targets are not revealed.

Speaking to BBC Hereford and Worcester Turner said: "I'm reasonably close in one or two cases of getting something sorted out - that's provided nobody else comes in at the last minute.

"I do think we've made progress with one or two, but there's nothing definite at the moment. I've talked to the agents of one or two of our existing players and of quite a number of players we would like to join us.

"There's a lot of ground work being done - whether it comes to fruition over the next few weeks remains to be seen. But at the moment I believe we are looking at some good quality players."

Meanwhile, the club is urging anyone who does not intend to buy a season ticket to get club membership instead. Membership is £15 and gives priority sales for all-ticket matches and a 10% discount in the club shop.

Turner is also looking to fill one or two Saturdays in the pre-season schedule, with the Bulls yet to name a Saturday match: "I'm in desperate need now of a Saturday fixture just to get the players acclimatised to playing on a Saturday afternoon.

"But when the bigger clubs offer you a date you either take them or you don't and all of them so far have been mid-week."
