Hereford United manager Graham Turner has won another award, this time winning the Western Daily Press Sports Personality for April. The paper recognised Turner's heroics as he led United to promotion from League Two with a shoe string budget
"The supporters have suffered a lot over the years and to go up again in our second season back in the Football League is terrific.", said Turner speaking to the Western Daily Press.
"The so-called experts were tipping us to be relegation fodder at the start of the season, but our players have gelled together and have a terrific team spirit. We have seen that again today. That is one thing you need in a club of our size, you've got to have spirit in the dressing room that can deal with things and we've got that."
