The Bulls will visit Crystal Palace in the First Round of the Carling Cup, with the game due to take place in the week of August 11th.
It will be the sides first meeting in over 30 years, since the pair were both in the old Division Three for two years between 1974 and 1976. The Bulls are unbeaten in those four League encounters, but lost an earlier FA Cup match in 1962.
The Bulls last visit to Selhurst Park was in 1993, when Wimbledon were tenants at the ground. The Dons won the second leg League Cup match 4-1, with Derek Hall scoring the Bulls only goal of the tie.
Meanwhile, the trip to Selhurst Park will be a first for the Bulls in one respect. It will be the first competitive match that the Bulls will be able to name a seven man substitutes bench. The move comes in for the Carling Cup as the Premiership have adopted the expanded bench for the coming season.
In other Carling Cup ties of note Chester entertain Leeds, Carlisle Reserves entertain Carlisle, Watford entertain Bristol Rovers, and Cheltenham go to Southend.
