Yeovil have agreed terms to sign midfielder Kieran Murtagh from Fisher Athletic. The 19 year old former Charlton trainee is to sign a two year deal. Hartlepool are leading the chase for Anthony Elding now a Crewe deal appears dead. Millwall and Leyton Orient have also expressed interest.
Carlisle have rejected a £400,000 offer from Coventry for goalkeeper Kieran Westwood, but the Sky Blues are believed to have lodged a higher bid. Luton could get a substantial investment from cricketer Monty Panesar. The Hatters fan has told the press he will put money into the club if he wins the Twenty20 international organised for November.
