Hereford United's football season may have only ended a few weeks ago, but there's a quick cure for those summertime blues coming with the draw for the First Round of the 2008/09 Carling Cup taking place at this morning (Friday) at around 10am.
The games themselves will be played in the week commencing 11th August just a few days after the start of the season.
The Bulls are expected to be in the Southern Section for the draw and will be unseeded. All the clubs from the Championship, League One and League Two enter at this stage. Premiership clubs enter at Round Two excect those playing in Europe who join in at the Round Three stage.
Last season the Bulls defeated Yeovil 4-1 at Edgar Street in Round One but lost at Birmingham 2-1 in Round Two.
