Young midfielder Sam Gwynne has been challenged by Graham Turner to make a claim for a place in the Hereford United first team. Gwynne, a 20 year old local player, has been given a new one year contract at Edgar Street.
"He's been with us about three years," Turner told BBC Hereford and Worcester.
"He had nine or ten games last season in the first team.
"He's got enough basic ability to justify having another year, having another good look at him and saying go on Sam force your way into the first team."
