H&W looking for Sports Journalist

BBC Hereford and Worcester are looking for a part-time sports journalist to help them cover Hereford United and other clubs in the area.

Part-time two days per week.

Fixed Term Contract: 9 months (until end March 2009)

We’re looking for a sport-mad journalist to join our team to work on radio and online, covering the likes of Hereford United, Worcester Warriors and Worcestershire’s cricketers

Broadcasting experience is not essential, but you will need to know how to write crisp accurate scripts and copy, and you’ll have a broad knowledge of all the major sports and a good understanding of media law.
