In an article entitled 100 things we still love about sport in yesterday's Observer, the recent success of the Bulls was noted.

17 - Hereford United have reached League One from the Conference in three seasons, spending a grand total of £40,000 on players in the past 13 years. Working against the prevailing spirit of cash-crazy football, they're the little team that could.

Meanwhile in other Hereford United related news Stephen Jennings has, once again, been linked with a return to Edgar Street according to Tranmere's Every Balls A White Ball.

Jennings, who played for the Bulls in early 2007 whilst on loan from Tranmere, is out of contract.
