Rotherham expect to hear today what punishment they will receive from the Football League for failing to agree a CVA, with a punishment of at least 15 points likely. Peterboro are to loan winger Alfie Potter to Kettering for the season. The 19 year old was part of Havant and Waterlooville's side that played at Anfield last season.

MK Dons have made their first summer signing by giving Austrian winger Florian Sturm a two year deal. The 26 year old was most recently with Swiss side FC Vaduz after spells in Swiss and Austrian football. Huddersfield are to sign released Blackpool midfielder Michael Flynn on a two year deal. The 27 year old played for boss Stan Ternent at Gillingham, where he was top scorer in 2006/7.

Crewe's new loan signing Jake Livermore will miss the first three months of the season after fracturing his fibula in their draw with Wrexham. Morecambe are set to offload Michael Twiss to Bury, with Gigg Lane two minutes from his house. Trialist Lewis Hunt has signed for Wycombe on a two year deal. He played for the Bulls against Kidderminster and Wolves during pre-season.

Cheltenham are to hold talks with Carlisle forward Kevin Gall. Manager Keith Downing was at Edgar Street last night and was seen talking to Gary Johnson, Gall's former boss at Yeovil, for half an hour with Steve Brooker also a Cheltenham target.
