Carlisle have signed Hull striker Michael Bridges on a season long loan. The one time England u-21 international spent most of the 05/06 at Brunton Park, scoring 15 in 31 games. Tranmere have signed Liverpool defender Godwin Antwi on loan for the season. He spent last season at Huddersfield, and previously had a spell at Accrington.

Walsall have confirmed they have made an offer to striker Michael Ricketts following his release from Oldham. The one cap England international spent two months at the club last season on loan, and started his career there. Scunthorpe have signed former Man Utd youth defender Michael Lea on a one year deal.

Watford face a massive cash crisis, according to the local paper, and have told manager Ady Boothroyd to sell £10million in players just to avoid Administration. The announcement will mean the likes of Theo Robinson and Lionel Ainsworth are likely to be regular features for their first team in the coming season. The Hornets had a £3.5million wage bill when they entered the Premier League three years ago, but it had rocketed to £16.8million last season.

Former Bulls trialist Cortez Belle is on the verge of leaving Northwich after failing to reappear for pre-season training. Leeds have signed Livingston striker Robert Snodgrass for an undisclosed fee. The 20 year old scored ten times in Division One last season. Brighton have offered new one year deals to Gary Hart and Kerry Mayo after the pair were originally released by former boss Dean Wilkins.
