Trevor Benjamin will not be offered a deal by Bournemouth according to morning press reports, with a lack of match fitness noted as the main reason. The 39 year old has had only one sub appearance this season after firing the Tigers into the top flight.

Leyton Orient have given up trying to sign Coventry striker Kevin Kyle due to his high wages. The Sky Blues were unwilling to cover enough of his £8,000 a week pay packet to make him affordable. Walsall are giving a trial to former Wolves trainee Kevin O'Connor. The Irish midfielder has spent much of the last two seasons injured.
