Former Hereford United striker Trevor Benjamin is to continue playing football as well as working in his new business.
Benjamin is expected to turn out for Wellingborough tomorrow. He made his debut for his new club on Boxing Day scored in a 2-2 with Raunds.
"Trevor is a Wellingborough lad and has just started up his own industrial cleaning business locally," said manager Joe Smyth.
"He has agreed to play some games for us to help with his fitness and match sharpness.
"We are not paying any extra to Trevor, he will get the same expenses as every other player in the team.
"I think it is a fabulous gesture from him as it will help us to have a player of his calibre around the lads even if it is only for a short period."
