Youngster Craig Jones has returned to Hereford United after a month on loan at Redditch.
His return means that currently Hereford United have 19 players on contract and four players on loan from other clubs. One other player, sub keeper Jose Veiga, is on a non-contract deal.
The 'contract' figure includes defender Sam Oji. His deal is due to end this month and manager Graham Turner may decide not to renew it.
Turner is still looking for a striker and goalkeeper to boost his squad. To help the wage bill he may feel that a couple of players could go out on loan.
Meanwhile Chris Weale, the Bristol City keeper who was injured in training whilst at Edgar Street in early December, may be one of Turner's targets as soon as he is fit. It was reported at the time he would be out for up to six weeks.
Finally in other news this evening Dean Windass has joined Oldham from Hull on a season long loan. He could line up for his new club against Hereford United on Saturday week.
