Collins Signs For Port Vale

Former Bulls loanee Lee Collins has signed for Port Vale on a free transfer.

The 20 year old has signed a two and a half year deal at Vale Park after Wolves allowed him to leave on a free. He spent the first half of the season on loan there, playing 25 times for the club. Last season he spent nearly six months at Edgar Street, playing 20 times, but barely featured after mid-February playing only once in the final three months on the last day at home to Grimsby.

The Telford born defender never played a senior game at Molineux, telling Port Vale's official site: "I am very pleased because I have been happy here since a joined the club and I feel the team can start to put in some performances the the supporters deserve.

"The league is tight this year and I don't think we are too far off what it takes to get into the play-offs at the end of the year. We will definitely be going for promotion, if not this year, then next year. We can push forward and I just want to be part of that."
