Lewis Price, the Welsh international goalkeeper, was expected to come to Hereford United on loan but, for whatever reason, has gone to Luton instead.
The Burton Mail reports that Price who is currently third choice keeper at Derby 'was due to be loaned to Hereford United'.
It looks as though Graham Turner decided that the young Liverpool keeper he has signed on loan, Peter Gulacsi, was a better or perhaps cheaper option, or both.
To have the choice of two keepers does suggest that managers at a higher level are happy for players to come to Edgar Street.
