Leyton Orient have appointed former Colchester boss Geraint Williams as their new manager.
The 47 year old joins on a contract until the end of the season. He was sacked as Colchester boss in September after two years in the post, taking over the reigns following six years as assistant boss after Phil Parkinson went to Hull.
Kevin Nugent, who has been caretaker boss at the Matchroom Stadium, will continue at the club as his assistant. Meanwhile Chairman Barry Hearn has ended takeover talks with an unnamed party after the pair could not agree terms.
