Graham Turner has confirmed that Hereford United have made a profit for the year ended May 31 2008.
Writing in the match programme, Bullseye, the Hereford United manager talked about 'three significant announcements this week'. Those being the massive losses at RBS, Darlington going into administration and the amount football agents take out of the game.
Turner then contrasted the situation at some clubs who might be on the brink with Hereford United.
"Our latest accounts are due for signing off in the next week. These will be for the period up to last May, obviously our promotion season.
"We are pleased to announce that for the fifth consecutive year we will have traded in the black."
