Andrew Penn will be in charge of Tuesday's League One game at Huish Park where Hereford United will be the visitors.
Director of a Plastics Moulding Company 35 year old Penn commenced refereeing in 1986when aged fourteen. Ten years later he had made his way through local and CL football to join the National List of assistant referees. He was a panel referee from 1998 until 2001 when he was promoted to the National List of Referees.
Hereford United have seen Penn twice this season. He was in charge of the first game of the season which was an away game at Leyton Orient back in August. There were no bookings in that match but Orient won 2-1.
His second game was on Boxing Day when Tramere were the visitors to Edgar Street. The result was a 2-2 draw and Penn booked two Tranmere players.
To date he has officiated in 23 games this season and has given out 49 yellow and 3 red cards.
