The Official HUFC supporters transport organiser plans to run a coach to Scunthorpe on Tuesday with a departure set for 1.00 pm. The fare will be £20. A spokesman yesterday confirmed that less than half of the places have so far been booked. Seats can be reserved by booking in Legends prior to Saturdays game against Southend or through the Club office (08442 761939).
Speaking about the expected loss, the spokesman said "Over the years we have always had a few long mid-week trips that have failed to hit break-even but the losses have been covered by the profit from the more popular matches. We now have a situation where, often, this does not happen and we may have to use part of the 50/50 draw takings to cover the deficiency. A good support for HUISA on the Swindon trip would help."
Coaches for Swindon can also be booked in Legends on Saturday. The fare will be £11 (£12 non-members) and departure is set for 12.30 pm.
