News Round Up

Bournemouth are set to be sold to former chairman Jeff Mostyn. In return he will release co-owner Paul Baker from his obligations towards him that were part of the deal which saw Baker originally invest into the club. The Cherries face a winding up order for £32,000 tomorrow, and are yet to pay February's wages in full.

Darlington's Administrator has told one of their fansites that the whole club, stadium, and land surrounding is up for sale. In a frank interview the total debt is reported to be around £5million, but only 10% of it is owed to the taxman - making an exit to a CVA much more likely. In it's current form the club needs attendances of near to 6,000 to break even.

Scunthorpe have had an undisclosed bid accepted for Skelmersdale United forward George Donnelly. The 21 year old has scored 36 goals this season in regional football. Crewe boss Gudjon Thordarson will remain on a rolling contract for the time being after discussions with the board. Northampton manager Stuart Gray has been given a vote of confidence by his Chairman, and will be at the club next season whether they stay up or not.

Swansea have reported a £91,000 loss for last season, when they won promotion from League One. They lost £650,000 the season before on lower gates, with gates rising again this season. Mansfield have signed striker Daryl Clare from Rushden on loan, with a permanent deal to follow. Clare has been in dispute with Rushden and has not played since November.
