When Bristol Rovers last met Hereford United in a League One game back in August the result was a 6-1 win for Rovers. But as winger David Pipe says there have been a lot of personal changes at Edgar Street since that day.
"That's so long ago now that I don't think it matters," Pipe told the WDP.
"And they have brought so many loan players in that their team now is completely different. Never mind 6-1, we'll happily settle for a 1-0 win this time.
"Any players from clubs like that are going to be technically very good, but we have to get into them and play our game. I'm sure that if we can play the way we did at Scunthorpe and Oldham, they will struggle to cope with us."
Pipe played for Rovers at Edgar Street in a reserve match back in December
"I played there when I was on my way back from injury a few months ago and remember the pitch being quite bobbly, so I'm assuming it might be like that again," he said.
"That means we will have to win the fight before we can get the ball down and play."
