Former Bulls player and coach Keith Downing has been named as West Brom's new Academy coach.
The 43 year old previously held a similar post with Wolves before trying his hand at management with Cheltenham in 2007. Downing ended his playing career at the Bulls, making 59 appearances, before leaving for Wolves. He managed the Robins for 50 games, and ended last season with Port Vale as assistant boss to departed manager Dean Glover.
Meanwhile Ex-Bull Marcus Browning is on trial with Bath City. The 38 year old has left Weymouth by mutual consent following their relegation and ongoing financial troubles.
And Tamika Mkandawire is being chased by both Swansea and Watford, according to Sky Sports. The Malawi-born defender played over 150 times for the Bulls, and has completed two seasons with Leyton Orient since becoming surplus to requirements at West Brom.
Despite uncertainty about his future, Andy Williams has retained the no.8 shirt for Bristol Rovers next season. He was transfer listed two months ago after spending the bulk of last season at Edgar Street, scoring twice in 29 games.
