Accrington hope to sign a League One forward on a season long loan this week. Barnet are fast becoming Dad's Army after Micah Hyde agreed a one year deal at Underhill. Alongside the 34 year old is Gary Breen (35), Paul Furlong (40), and Lee Harrison (37) with manager Ian Hendon (37) also still holding a playing contract. Plymouth winger Yannick Bolasie has also made a loan return to the club after spending half of last season there, playing 20 times.

Grimsby have taken unwanted Mansfield striker Nathan Arnold on trial. Port Vale have no money left from their playing budget for the coming season. Darlington's old ground, Feethams, has finally received planning permission to be used for housing, six years after it was vacated by the club. Since they departed for the Darlington Arena, the ground was damaged by vandals and arsonists after demolition work stopped leaving one stand and an overgrown pitch.
Ex-Bull Lionel Ainsworth is to stand trial in November over charges of affray following an incident in March when he was arrested with two other family members in Nottinghamshire. The incident is believed to be linked to the death of another family member, Liam Munn, in January. Kettering have signed released Cheltenham striker Damian Spencer.
Grimsby have signed former Barnet midfielder Michael Leary on a two year deal. The former Luton trainee barely featured for the Bees in the final three months of the season. Cheltenham have taken midfielder Josh Low off the transfer list after he agreed to reduce the terms of his contract. The Robins are to also consider returning to the council to resurrect their loan proposals of last season.
A number of sides could be struggling for kit next season after manufacturers Diadora went into liquidation. Stockport owed them £54,000 when they went into Administration but would have paid just over £500 as part of their CVA. Torquay have signed 19 year old former Swindon striker Ben Joyce after he scored twice in his first pre-season friendly.
