The Robins are to return to their local council to seek renewed talks over a loan. An original £100,000 offer was agreed at the end of last season, but the Robins pulled out citing new financial streams that would cover the losses. Crewe have ended their interest in ex-Swindon pair Michael Pook and Hamdi Razak.
