Named as Frank Pandiani on Tuesday night, then Franck by the press, the striker that scored against Kidderminster has now been identified as Franck Padovani.
After John Trewick reported that he had impressed but returned to France following the Kiddy game, he is now back with the club and in training to earn a contract for the coming season.
Padovani is a 24 year old who has been plying his trade recently in the amateur fifth division in France, scoring 13 times in 41 games. Originally a trainee with top flight side Nice, he has been without a professional club since 2007.
Also on trial today was Matt Richards, (updated) who is believed to be a former Derby trainee who was most recently with Wycombe. His only League appearance was in a loan spell at Notts County last season against Wycombe while on loan at Meadow Lane.
