Another day, another Notts County in for a striker story. Coventry man Gary McSheffrey is the latest to be a target, according to assorted press reports. Dagenham have expressed an interest in Wealdstone defender Carl Martin, who had a pre-season trial with Crewe. Bournemouth are to sign West Ham midfielder Anthony Edgar with their one allowed transfer move. The 19 year old is a cousin of Jermaine Defoe.
