The Bulls entertain Dagenham on Saturday looking for a third sucessive home win.
The two sides have met in eight of the last nine seasons after only first meeting in September 2000. The Bulls have just five wins from the sixteen matches, with the most notable being that 9-0 win in Feburary 2004. Since then the Bulls have won only two of eight meetings, losing last season's FA Cup tie on a replay after a goalless draw at Edgar Street.
The Bulls will go into Saturday's game on a high after beating leaders Bournemouth on Tuesday. The one thing from that game that is clear is that if the Cherries are the best side in the division, then they're all beatable. The forward pair of Gary King and James Walker did everything but score on Tuesday and, with Marc Pugh now fifth in the goalscoring charts, thoughts of not being a danger up front are firmly in the back of the mind.
Dagenham's unlikely top-half finish last season, just missing the play-offs, was expected to be a one-off but their third place in the current table underlines their ability. Their home form is substantially better than that on their travels, with both Torquay and Shrewsbury being hit for five. Away from home they haven't scored more than once since the opening day win at Crewe, winning only once since when stopping Burton from scoring. Striker Paul Benson is second in the League Two scoring chart with eight this season.
