Ex-Bull John Snape has followed Matt Clarke in seeing his first club as manager set to enter Administration.
The two sides, Bromsgrove and Clarke's Halesowen, are both the subject of ownership struggles that have brought about their financial problems. At Halesowen, unpopular owner Morrell Maison is the subject of a fans' boycott forcing gates down to the 100 mark from their more usual 500, causing money troubles.
Bromsgrove's problems are similar. Former chairman John Teece has brought a winding up petition against the club for unpaid debts and current chairman Tom Herbert, the subject of an 18 month long bid to force him to sell the club to a local consortium, has announced he will put the club into Administration on October 19th - four days before the petition is to be heard.
The winding up petition is for less than £6,000, with gates at Victoria Road up 17% on last season, but it is little surprise to many Bromsgrove fans that such a small amount is threatening a club that has a group called Justice for Shareholders. They paid for shares in the club under a previous regime but never received them, and the money handed over disappeared.
