
Several Hereford United supporters had a quick pint or two in the Church Inn close to Spotland, the home of Rochdale, before the game last Saturday.

Whilst most of the products are still available, Baxters pale ale, costing just 4 old pennies per pint, seems to be extinct. And no-one seemed to know what bogie was.
Edit - Bruno will be St Bruno (the Pipe tobacco) and Bogie is/was a brand of chewing tobacco (twist). Ex.
Whilst the Church Inn was on the one side of the ground, on the other was unusually named Cemetery Hotel.
