Former Hereford United loanee Robbie Threlfall has had a change of mind. Yesterday he was off to Darlington for a month's loan. Today he's decided to stay at Ainfield.
"Everyone was happy with the deal with Robbie, but on Friday morning he had a change of heart after talking to Liverpool's reserve team coach," said Darlington manager Steve Staunton.
"This happens and we move on. I don't want players here who don't want to be here."
Meanwhile over at Notts County there is speculation that former England manager Sven-Goran Eriksson is about to quit his post as director of football.
