Aldershot caretaker boss Jason Dodd is to leave the club for a job with Southampton's Academy. He won just one point from three games in charge but will remain in charge for the FA Cup match on Saturday. The Shots have appointed John Leppard as their acting chairman. He has been a director since 1997. Northampton have lost the services of winger Ben Marshall after Stoke recalled him. He played 18 times in his three month spell, scoring twice.

Macclesfield Police have issued a warning to fans after a series of thefts from vehicles around Moss Rose while games were going on. Bournemouth vice chairman Jeff Mostyn is in court over the next two days defending a £30,000 claim from former Cherries company secretary Keith Piper, who says Mostyn owes him the money to invest in the club. Piper also has a winding up order against the club attached to the taxman's case.

Ex-Bull Terry Paine is to pick up a honorary Doctor of Sport degree at Southampton University this week. Bournemouth youngster Jayden Stockley has signed a five year deal at the club after rejecting overtures from Premier League sides. New Histon chairman Tony Roach has told the press the club was close to Administration, and is still sailing close to the wind. They have released coach John Beck for financial reasons.
