News Round Up

Crewe striker Calvin Zola is a January target for Peterboro according to the Mirror. The paper says Zola, who cost the Railwaymen £200,000 from Tranmere, will move for around £250,000 when Aaron McLean is sold by the Posh. Darlington say they are forced into not playing Steve Foster as he is "by far the highest earner at the club" and they could not sustain his wages at Conference level.

Grimsby have extended the loan deal for teenage defender Damien McCrory from Plymouth for a second month. Ebbsfleet have bought out the MyFC website from founder Will Brooks for £15, and will increase annual membership from £35 to £100 in a bid to safeguard the club's future. Brooks was taking 20% of fees in exchange for operating the site, but the club will now run the site itself. They hope to nearly double income with the price increase.

Telford are to loan former Hereford United striker Danny Carey-Bertram to Worcester City for a month. Rochdale's home game with Bury has been switched for live Sky coverage from the Saturday to Monday February 1st. Lincoln have reported a £66,000 loss on last season.
