Will Sven be at Edgar Street

More speculation about Sven-Goran Eriksson and his future at Notts County has appeared in this morning's Daily Telegraph.

The paper suggest that whilst Eriksson is still at Meadow Lane, he hasn't been paid 'the multi-million pound sum he claims was promised to him by a company associated with Qadbak, County’s owners, when he joined.'

'The Swede is understood to be claiming entitlement to a seven-figure sum from Swiss Commodity Holding, a company closely entwined with County, for his role as an “ambassador”.'

61 year old Eriksson is said to have insisted on talks next week to clarify whether he is going to be paid and also, perhaps more importantly for the club, to ascertain the basis of more questions being asked by the Football League into the structure of the ownership of Notts County.

Tomorrow Notts County travel to Edgar Street for a League Two match. Whether Sven-Goran Eriksson will be there remains to be seen.

Meanwhile there do not appear to be any plans to revive the anicient ritual of kicking the swede towards the Meadow End before the kick-off.
