Brock Backs Trewick

Kevin Brock, a former teammate of John Trewick during his playing days, says a mid table finish would be a good season for the Bulls.

Speaking to the Hereford Times Brock, who spent three years in the mid-80's playing alongside Trewick for Oxford United, reckons the Bulls aren't big enough to aim higher this term:

"I know John well – he lived in the same town as me when he was at Oxford. He is a strong character and has got a good head on his shoulders. I think John was always going to get into management. He took a keen interest in that side of the game even when he was a player.

"Hereford are not a massive club in League 2 and, hopefully, the supporters and everyone can see that if they can get into mid-table it would be a good achievement."

The pair won the League Cup together at Oxford after helping them into the top flight. Brock is now managing in the Hellenic League.
