Grimsby have transfer listed four senior players. Barry Conlon, Danny Boshell, Jamie Clarke and club captain Matt Heywood have all had their names circulated. Only Conlon has been a regular feature under new boss Neil Woods, but mostly as a sub. Sven Goran Eriksson is reported by The Guardian to be on the verge of quitting Notts County as he believes no-one will invest the millions needed to get the club up the league ladder.

Bradford have signed Huddersfield goalkeeper Matt Glennon until the end of the season after the 31 year old negotiated a pay-off of his Terriers contract. Bournemouth have failed again to get their transfer embargo eased. They were again refused permission by the Football League to sign a single loan player.

The League Managers Association are to launch a mentoring service for managers in a bid to stem the managerial casualty rate that is nearly 60% a year at present. The service will allow under pressure bosses to seek the help of experienced coaches without the fear of getting pushed out of their job. Kidderminster have confirmed that former goalkeeper Tim Flowers is in the running for their managerial job. He joins Jimmy Harvey, Jeff Kenna, and current caretaker John Finnegan at the front of the queue.

Histon have sacked manager Steve Fallon just a day after he returned to work after a months suspension. A board statement says that 'underlying irreconcilable differences' were the cause. Shrewsbury defender Mike Jackson has decided to retire with a persistent knee injury. He will remain with the club on the coaching staff for the rest of the current season.

Redditch are the latest side to face a winding up order. A brief statement on their official site says an unnamed creditor has issued the order, but talks are ongoing. Dagenham have loaned striker Mark Nwokeji to Luton for the remainder of the season. He spent December with the Hatters, scoring once. Torquay have sent Steve Adams, Lee Hodges, Ben Joyce, and Michael Brough out on loan to various non-league sides for the rest of the season.

Chester midfielder James Owen is the second player in as many days to leave the club by mutual consent. Owen, who turns 19 tomorrow, has been tracked by a number of clubs.
