The rumoured Premium TV website for Hereford United has appeared on the world wide webby thing. Current pages display articles going back to mid-December.
There was some “Pub” talk a couple of months ago regarding a switch from the present “in house” site but it was thought that the preference was for retaining the existing format. Premium TV sites generally carry live commentary for all away games which can, of course be accessed on-line. The BBC in their Hereford and Worcester model already provide a service which is broadcast on FM radio but that is not available to those living outside the local catchment area.
A typical football club Prem. TV site provides new articles similar to those currently offered by the existing Official Site but additionally offers video interviews only available to subscribers. Subscription fees are usually around £4 per month with season long deals in the region of £35/40 depending on payment method. Some clubs also offer discounted deals in the run-up to Christmas for the second part of the season.
The present Prem. TV pages on the HUFC site are reporting most of the same articles as the existing Official Site with the addition of a story on the Tyler Weir contract extension together with the on-line shop and a variety of advertisements.
