Swansea City are the latest Football League club to dispute police vicinity charges. South Wales Police claim the club owes them around £100,000.
"To date, no payments have been made by Swansea City AFC to South Wales Police for the policing of football matches at the Liberty Stadium during the 2009/10 season," said Ch Supt Mark Mathias as reported by BBC Wales.
"Charges are made on a match-by-match basis and we are in discussions with the club to take this agreement forward.
"Ordinarily, payments should be made after each match, but for a number of reasons this remains flexible.
"I must stress the non-payment is not a lack of finances by the club, but a dispute over the levels of charging."
It isn't clear whether the £100,000 includes police costs both inside and outside the Liberty Stadium.
Hereford United are said to owe West Midlands Police a sum for vicinity charges. Recently the club has had stewards outside Edgar Street probably in an attempt to help reduce potential charges.
