Hereford United manager, Graham Turner, expressed his delight with this afternoon's performance by the Bulls which resulted in well-deserved 2-0 win over Bradford City.
"I think we were up against a very big side, very powerful side," Turner told BBC Hereford and Worcester.
"They put it into our box at every opportunity and we had to cope with some very big players particuarily from set-pieces.
"We worked very hard, we had some good patches of play at times but it was almost a war of attrition out there.
"But I've got to be delighted with the attitude, the application of the players and the manner we went about it. I thought there were some outstanding performances."
Turner then mentioned a couple of players including the two new loanees.
"I thought Lewis Young worked very hard for the side. Worked back when he had to and I think he will get better as he gets used to the place.
"Jake Jervis, delighted to have him in the club. He took his goal very well.
"He's just turned up this morning, we got the papers through late. He'll get better as he gets used to the players around him.
"Mansel Mathieu, he's a big strong lad, he's got good skills but first of all he's got to win his physical battle and he can do that.
"I've seen him work a lot harder than in the past, he's looks a little bit fitter and again I thought he held the ball up well, caused their defence a few problems and alng with Gavin McCallum formed a good patnership."
