Turner talks about Young Signing.

Graham Turner has been telling BBC Hereford and Worcester about signing Lewis Young from Watford.

"With the obvious need for a little bit more goalscoring ability in the side we have taken Lewis Young from Watford who has got a decent goal scoring record in their reserves," said the Hereford United manager.

"We have had some decent players from Watford over the last few years and we are hoping he will be the latest.

"I had a player lined up from a Championship club and in the end he decided he didn't want to come to us and the following day he signed for a League One club that is far bigger than us and you can understand the reasons why.

"Players themselves want to leave it as late as possible, with the deadline coming up, hoping that bigger clubs will come in.

"We have found it difficult attracting the more experienced players however Lewis comes in with a tremendous attitude.

"He was delighted we went in for him, he was delighted to come up. He knows the history of the club and the connections between Watford and ourselves and we are hoping he will have the same impact as Theo Robinson and Toumani Diagouraga when they came to us."

Turner suggested that more loan players might have been signed.

"There has been scope to bring players in for a long time."
