Important to get Share Sale Settled says Turner

Hereford United chairman Graham Turner has said that progress is being made with his sale of shares in the club.

"We feel we are making progress as we are talking to several parties at the moment," Turner told BBC Hereford and Worcester.

"It is not all about price but there is considerable interest from these parties, they are getting serious about things, and it could be another seven to ten days and it could be all settled.

"It has dragged on a little bit as the due diligence that people have to do is a long drawn out affair.

"Others have appeared on the scene a little bit later than the first group.

"But it is important we get it settled as the new people have obviously got to appoint a manager and have got to bring in new players.

"In the mean time I will carry on with the work in terms of bringing in any players I think are suitable for the club.

"Right at the moment there are three (groups) still interested.

"If things do go according to plan I can see almost a decision in a weeks time."
