Tamika Mkandawire is one of seven Leyton Orient players to be offered new deals by the club. The 26 year old can now leave for nothing and has been watched by several Championship sides. They have also released seven, including veteran James Scowcroft, and offered manager Russell Slade a two year contract. Macclesfield have signed Hednesford striker Tyrone Barnett. The 6ft3in former West Brom trainee scored 54 goals in two seasons with the Pitmen.

The FA are to investigate violence at yesterday's Burton-Grimsby game. Fans invaded the pitch after the match, and there were skirmishes both inside and outside the ground. There were also disturbances after the Port Vale-Shrewsbury match when several hundred home fans made attempts to get to the visiting support. The Valiants had previously said that a strong Police presence was to be at the game due to previous issues.

Luton have released eight players following their play-off failure. Four have ended their contracts, while four more loan players - including Liam Hatch - will not be offered permanent moves. Bury boss Alan Knill has promised 'radical change' at Gigg Lane after his side's dismal end to the season ended their play-off hopes.

Burton have agreed a two year deal with veteran defender Darren Moore. The 36 year old is a neighbour of manager Paul Peschisolido and the pair travelled together for three years. Bradford have confirmed that Wayne Jacobs will remain as no.2 to Peter Taylor for next season. Bath and Fleetwood will compete in the Conference next season after winning their respective play-offs. Bath, with ex-Bull Marcus Browning on the bench, beat Woking 1-0 while Fleetwood beat Nicky Law's Alfreton 2-1.

Gillingham boss Mark Stimson has refused to quit the club following their relegation to League Two. Fans are calling for Stimson's head after their loss to Wycombe, which meant they collected just six of their 50 points on the road - all of them from draws.
