So much speculation but little if any hard facts about the progress or not of the proposed sale of Graham Turner's shares in Hereford United was evident in words spoken by him this afternoon.
Keith Hall asked him whether he might stay on as manager.
"You can never tell," Turner told BBC Hereford and Worcester.
"You can never say quite categorically, anything could happen at this stage.
"We've obviously put our shares up for sale. There is some interest. We are talking to parties now.
"I think it is highly unlikely that I will be here next season but we will not leave the club in the lurch.
"I think in the next fortnight there will be a tremendous amount of activity. The work that we have carried out for the past 15 years will be continued. There are a lot of issues to sort out.
"Not least the planning consent for the demolition and construction of the Blackfriars End.
"All that will be taken care of. We will make sure we leave the club in a good state."
Turner mentioned the reception he received after today's game.
"I've had a good rapport with the supporters. Delighted with the reception I got tonight and I wish them well for the future."
