Graham Turner has told BBC Hereford and Worcester that he has made offers to several young players after this afternoon's match. He explained that he wanted to get the season over before deciding which players he would like to see at Edgar Street next season.
"I think what I wanted to do was get the matches out of the way," said Turner.
"I didn't want any distractions. Maybe there is nothing worse than telling a player he's not worth a new contract then ask him to play on the Saturday.
"The players have got three months notice. They will be getting letters. I'll speak to one or two of them.
"There are several who are under 24 and we could still command a fee for. They will have their letters today.
"We'll exercise the option on Mathieu Manset (pictured with Gavin McCallum)
"The three under 24's are Gavin McCallum, James McQuilkin and Marc Pugh, so they will all be offered deals today to ensure that even if we lost them we can still maintain the right to a fee."
