More From The Press Conference

David Keyte talked of his past and the meeting of him and Tim Russon: "Hereford born and bred. Had a bit of a flirtation (with the club) when Colin Addison signed me on as a Cathedral schoolboy and didn't quite make it. 1963 my dad brought me here... it's like a dream come true for me. Living the dream.

"I've had a bit of luck in business, got a place out in Barbados. I got off a flight at the end of April, bought the Hereford Times and saw 'the Bulls up for sale' and I thought this is it. I visited my father in Tillington, walked through the door and asked him if he'd seen it - 'I said to your mother if David sees that... and if he's got any money left...'

"We (he and Tim Russon) got together in the last two months. We'd come at it from seperate angles. Joan Fennessey put us together. Delighted with the early workings. I'm an accountant, and will be continuing on the prudence that Graham (Turner) has set for this club. I might be the hard nose businessman, quiet but determined, but I think we've got a nice marriage here that Tim is the communication/TV guy that can get things moving to the community.

"This is no criticism of Graham and co, but we feel that there is an opening to perhaps get the football club back to the Hereford people in some fashion."
