Alan Knill's Bury lost 3-0 at Crewe last Saturday but he insists that his squad is ready for the visit of Hereford on Saturday.
"We never turned up and we got what we deserved," Knill told the Bury Times.
"The important thing is to quickly put it behind us and look forward to Hereford.
"It was a really bad performance but there’s no point panicking."
Bury have conceeded seven goals in their last two games so there has to be hope that the Bulls can add to their account at Gigg Lane.
Meanwhile Bury's veteran defender Efe Sodje has said that their defence will 'put it right' this weekend.
"I don’t think people should read too much into it," he said. It was just a bad day – there’s nothing more to say about it.
"We’re not shocked but we need to open our eyes and know what we have to do.
"We’re not bothered who we play on Saturday – all I know is we will be different."
