At tonight's meeting with VP club members, the football club's board offered the VP club their autonomy back.
After being forcefully integrated into the football club last summer, a move that alienated several long standing members, the assembled board offered the members the chance to take the day to day running of the VP club back on board and return to the structure that had been in place since 1972.
The matter will now go to a full meeting of members to be held soon.
