It doesn't look as though it will be very warm watching football at Edgar Street this afternoon, so it might be a good excuse for any supporter who hasn't yet tried food from the new caterers at the ground to do so.
Ascari's do a range of pies. Top of the list is a Hereford Beef Pie. Also available are real bacon rolls. And they are good.
How times have changed.
For many years supporters who regularly travel to away games often commented how the pies were much better at many venues than the fare dished out by Lindley's at Edgar Street.
This season that isn't the case. As yet it's probably fair to say no other ground has sold pies that are as good as those from Ascari's.
So with this afternoon likely to be the coldest day at Edgar Street this season so far what better reason than to purchase hot food and drink from Ascari's inside Edgar Street.
And help a local business employing local people using local ingredients.
